Good Night Moon Dipped Pretzels

To go along with the Good Night Moon Cake Pops I also make Dipped Pretzels.  I made White Chocolate and Regular Chocolate ones.  The sprinkles are blue stars with yellow moons.  I was very happy with how they turned out.

I don't have photos of them individually bagged but I did do that and used a silver tie band to seal them up.  Who doesn't love chocolate and pretzels?!?  Oh so yummy!

Good Night Moon Cake Pops

I recently made cake pops for a baby shower using the book "Good Night Moon" as their theme.  I made 3 kinds of cake pops: Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting, White Cake with Buttercream frosting and Chocolate Cake with Buttercream frosting.  I made a total of 60 cake pops and used four main colors: red, green, yellow and blue.

I drizzled the cake pops with multiple colors and think they turned out so perfectly!

This is what the cake pops looked like after I added ribbon and bagged them up.  I denoted each color ribbon with the flavor cake that they were.  That way they still looked pretty and everyone knew what cake they would be getting.  Some people just don't like surprises!

Next cake pops I'll be making are for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.  I found some cute gold edible sugar hearts that I'm going to sprinkle on the cake pops.

Baby Cake Pops

I made 4 dozen baby cake pops.  It was a yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and a mix of vanilla candy melts and almond bark coating for the outside.

A simple use of some edible markers created the faces, mini cupcake liners for the hat and a bow on the stick - well - just because.  Not only were they cute, but they were good too!

Decorated Sugar Cookies

I made 4 dozen decorated sugar cookies using royal icing.  The theme for the shower was blue so I did 2 shades of blue on the cookies.

I used the following cookie cutters: rattle, buggy, bottle, umbrella, pacifier and letters to spell out "Baby".

The cookies were a big hit and my sister-in-law said there were all gone by the end of the party!!  So glad they were such a big hit!

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

This is what 4 dozen pretzels look like!!!

I used a baby mold for 2 dozen of them and dipped, drizzled or sprinkled the other 2 dozen.

 Here are close up shots.
These are the dipped ones.  Some of them have blue colored sugar sprinkled on them.
Another close up showing the different ways I decorated with the molds.  The molds are definitely more time consuming that just plain dipping, but they look really nice all done!

Brownie Bites

These brownie bites are delicious!!  Baking them made the house smell so good.  I decorated some of them with some chocolate frosting and a blue candy "boy" or "C".  The "C" was for the baby's last name.  I left some brownies without any frosting for those who don't like a lof of sugar.

A close up of the brownies.  Too bad I couldn't serve these straigh from the oven.  They were so gooey.
